*** Curaçao is in the middle of a significant development boom and the Brakkeput area is no exception. There is active construction in the neighbourhood that typically runs during morning and early afternoon hours on weekdays. By mid-afternoon the activity generally winds down. We mention this because we believe guests deserve to know before they book rather than be surprised after arrival. For most guests it has been a non-issue — the property itself is private, the pool and outdoor areas are set back from the street and evenings and weekends are consistently peaceful. If you are particularly sensitive to daytime noise we wanted you to have that information upfront.

• The bedrooms are your sanctuary – cool and spacious

• Primary Suite - King bed, bedside tables with reading lamps, ceiling fan, ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower and bidet, walk-in closet with full shelving, storage and hangers, in-room safe.

• Bedroom 2 - King bed, bedside tables with reading lamps, ceiling fan, ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, wardrobe with storage and hangers.

• Bedroom 3 - King bed, bedside tables with reading lamps, ceiling fan, wardrobe with storage and hangers. Served by the fourth bathroom, conveniently located adjacent to the room.

• Bedroom 4 (Lower Level) — King bed, bedside tables with reading lamps, ceiling fan, ensuite bathroom, walk-in closet with hangers. Ideal for guests who prefer a more private, self-contained space.

• All bedrooms include bedding, pillows, bath towels and beach towels.

• Shampoo, body soap and hand soap provided throughout.

• 3 minutes to Tugboat Beach and Director's Bay — two of the island's most loved snorkeling spots

• 10 minutes to Mambo Beach Boulevard

KEY DETAILS

• Check-in after 4:00 pm

• Check-out before 11:00 am

• For stays longer than 8 nights, a mid-stay cleaning is required to ensure the home remains fresh and maintained to our standards. We’ll coordinate a convenient time with you in advance.

• Where applicable, a $500 security deposit (held on your credit card) is required at the time of booking.

• ENERGY TRANSPARENCY:

• ***We believe in complete transparency, so please note: 25kw of electricity are provided for each night.  Consumption above that is charged separately and is not included in the nightly rate. Usage is billed at $0.50 per kWh and settled from the security deposit at checkout or afterwards.  In practice, Curaçao's consistent trade winds keep the villa naturally cool during the day. Most guests find air conditioning is only needed at night with doors and windows closed which keeps usage and costs very manageable. We share this upfront because we'd rather you know before you book than be surprised after checkout.

HOUSE RULES

• Parties or events are not allowed without consent; respectful use of the property is expected

• There is no smoking indoors and while we love pets, they are not permitted

• Kindly keep noise to a minimum between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM

• Accidents happen. Please report any damages or breakages promptly 

• Security: For your safety, always lock doors and windows when leaving the property.

• To avoid plumbing issues, please do not flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilets. There is a garbage in each bathroom for everything other than toilet paper. ​
