What began in 2019 as a backyard pop-up by Josh Rigaud, has grown into one of Curaçao’s premier burger labs and community hubs. This man’s love for great burgers is something we can all relate to! brgr haus, nestled in the shaded courtyard of Kura Hulanda’s restored merchant houses, combines locally promoted ingredients with bold flavors.

They source their beef locally, their cheeses are hand selected and their brioche buns are baked daily. Their hand-cut fries are crispy but never greasy and their haus-made pickles” satisfy the most discerning connoisseurs. If burgers aren’t your thing (we can’t be friends), brgr haus still has you covered. Options like the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich “The Thunderbird” and “The Philly,” salads and saucy wings round out their menu, all surely delicious. If you’re at brgr haus though, you’re likely there for their signature.

You’ve got the “Shelby,” their classic smash patty, the “Harlem Truffle,” which I couldn’t eat fast enough and “The Schwoah,” loaded with fried white onions and brgr sauce, to name just a few. If you’re feeling ambitious, tackle one of their Phat Boys like the “Kimmy” with, you guessed it, Kimchi.
If loaded fries are your thing, the “Wild Fries” smothered in sauce, bacon and jalapeno never disappoints and if you’ve got room at the end, a slice of chocolate cake has never been a bad way to end a meal.
Staff here are friendly and attentive, happy to walk you through the menu highlights. Their warm hospitality shines through.
As far as the vibe and atmosphere are concerned, I don’t think it gets better! Set beneath huge tamarind trees in the middle of Kura Hulanda, you feel laid-back in an upscale setting. Traditional tables mixed with picnic-style seating, in an open courtyard under Edison-bulb string lights, creates a casual and romantic island charm.” brgr haus is a perfect spot for everything from a relaxed lunch to a date night. You won’t be disappointed.
